Tutorial Tuesday: Beach Cover-ups

Are you getting your warm weather vacations planned yet?  We are!  Our heads are filled with thoughts of swimwear, flip-flops, and sunny days at the beach!  This week are doing something different for Tutorial Tuesday and featuring two versions of the easy, popular beach cover-up that we have all repinned on Pinterest.  Grab some of our new French terry knits and make a quick and easy Victoria's Secret-inspired cover-up with these DIYs.
This super cute and comfy Swimsuit Wrap tutorial by Caitlin of Teaspoon requires less than 2 yards of fabric and twenty minutes of sewing time. You need enough knit fabric to wrap around your body twice. So easy to do and Caitlin provides clear pictures with easy step-by-step instructions. Head on over to read the tutorial

For a different technique Doranda of Watch for the Woestmans has a No-Sew Swimsuit Coverup alternative. All you need is some French terry knit and a glue gun! Seriously! Find how how she does it on her blog.

This swimsuit cover-up would work best with yummy French Terry Knits!  Try it with one of our different color options like bold Poppy Red, fun Lemon Yellow, or bright Cobalt Blue.

Lemon Yellow Solid Cotton Spandex

What do you think of these cover-ups? Planning on making one of your own? If you do, be sure to send us pictures at gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you may be featured on our blog!

Happy sewing (or gluing)!
