Tutorial Tuesday: Boyfriend Style Cardigan by Terra of Mama Says Sew

Welcome back to another Tutorial Tuesday! This week, we are featuring Mama Says Sew's Boyfriend Style Cardigan. With spring just around the corner, this cardigan is a perfect staple for your closet. Check out our fabric recommendations below and make your own with the simple tutorial!
This oversized cardigan comes with big pockets and a bit of a slouch. Terra of Mama Says Sew wears it with a DIY fringe scarf that matches the turquoise buttons but what's so great about this cardigan is that there are endless styling possibilities! We see it layered, belted with jeans, over a dress, and much more!

Head on over to Mama Says Sew for the tutorial. Terra gives very easy instructions with pictures for each step. All you need is some of your favorite jersey knit and a t-shirt as a guide.

When making this cardigan, look for a light to medium-weight jersey cotton knit fabric. Try it with the Heather Charcoal Gray Solid Cotton Spandex Knit or go with Chartreuse Green and Oatmeal Stripe Cotton Jersey Blend Knit Fabric. The Boyfriend Cardigan would look so cute in our Anchors Away Poppy Red Cotton Jersey Blend Knit Fabric or gorgeous Orange White Small Stripe on Turquoise Blue Cotton Jersey Knit Fabric.
